1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using OFFMUTE (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
OFFMUTE is a group travel coordination platform that helps groups plan trips together through shared itineraries, polls, RSVPs, and real-time coordination tools. The Service is available as an iOS app and a web application.
3. Account Registration
- You must be at least 13 years old to use OFFMUTE.
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- Post illegal, harmful, or offensive content in trips
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service
- Interfere with the operation of the Service
5. Trip Content
- You own your content. Trip data, photos, and text you create belong to you.
- License to display. By creating trip content, you grant OFFMUTE a license to display it to your invited trip members and to generate previews (e.g., link previews, Open Graph images).
- Responsibility. You are responsible for the content you share within trips.
6. Intellectual Property
The OFFMUTE name, logo, design, and technology are the property of OFFMUTE. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission.
7. Free and Paid Services
OFFMUTE offers a free tier and may offer paid subscriptions in the future. During the beta period, all features are free. We will provide advance notice before introducing any paid features.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting support. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
9. Limitation of Liability
OFFMUTE is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:
- Travel plans that don’t work out
- Group decisions made through polls
- Third-party services linked from the app
- Data loss due to circumstances beyond our control
Our total liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the past 12 months (or $0 if you’re on the free tier).
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Williamson County, Texas.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect.
